Bodywork in the Raindrop technique

Since many states require a license to perform massage, check your state's guidelines before applying the Raindrop Technique® to non-family members.

Step 1: Preparation

Provide a relaxing environment

Create a relaxing environment with a comfortable temperature, low lighting, and no noise or distractions. Set up the massage table and cover it with a double sheet. Put down an extra blanket to keep the recipient warm and covered. The leader must keep his fingernails short.

Place essential oils and blends.

Keep the Raindrop Technique® essential oils and blends and a bottle of V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex on hand. You will need the following oils and blends, in this order: Valor, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Aroma Size, Peppermint, and White Angelica™. Although not included in the collection, a white angelica essential oil blend can also be a useful, if not essential, part of this technique.

Prepare the recipient.

Ensure the recipient's privacy by asking them to remove their shoes and socks and strip to the waist. Secure an apron or drape and place them face up on the massage table. Enter the room with a positive attitude. Apply the white angelica mixture to your hands.
